The Box One V-Brakes are the gold standard of V-Brakes. The Box One brakes are the only ones in Box's lineup that use their oversized technology. To reduce lateral deflection at the V Box chose to enlarge the pivot areas and arms while tightening tolerances at their interfaces. However to keep the weight down Box took material from areas that aren't under high loads and put that material into key areas, meaning these brakes are light but strong in the crucial areas. For smooth operation the arms pivot on precision sealed bearings and utilize titanium and stainless steel hardware.
